Is anyone else tired of the media blitz and the extended 15 minutes of fame that Sarah Palin is enjoying? As an educated, Christian, well-traveled mother everything about Sarah Palin makes me sick. The fact that even a portion of this country celebrates her lack of education, cultural ignorance and her fear-based leadership mentality is very upsetting. I am TIRED of the media literally soaking up Sarah Palin and regugitating her into my living room!

What can we do to tell the media to stop the Palin "love fest"? Sarah Palin needs to hear the clear message that America has rejected her and that 4 years from now this country will have evolved and enlightened to the point that the idea of her as a leader will be more intolerable than it is today.

I saw a news report on MSNBC about this website: www.draftpalin2012.com It's absurd.

She still has a point, beyond her anger. We don't need to censure Palin; that's what this country's all about. But we need to focus on better leadership and more positive change. The traditional media's commercial interests usually come into direct conflict with this need.

Just give her a piece of gum and ask her to walk. That ought to stop her. But seriously, IF they draft her in 1012, it will be to our great benefit. A Yellow Dog beats a Pitbull in lipstick any day.

Finally, I did not see the media Queen Making with her. She WAS a story; they covered it as long as people were interested, and I can't think of a single interview with someone in the media in which the interviewer didn't end up with a "WTF?!" look onhis or her face. I hate media bashing. They allowed us to see who she was and even her own party turned on her. Thankfully we have the First Amendment, Robert.

Obama supporters should support her and then we get 8 years of competence! I hope the Republicans continue to support someone who has no chance of getting elected. The worse thing about her is she doesn't even know how limited she is. When Katie Couric tried to give her some advice..."do your homework" she was insulted and lashed back at her. The Republicans deserve another incompetent leader.

I say let her go. If that is a splinter group let them say their piece and burn out or gain support.

As a Democrat I actually hope the real base - moderate Republicans - will take back their party. Every 8 years or so the R's get to pick the president and I am hoping they will get mad and get control and not give us another "W".

I read the post by Igor Bergman which stated "but Palin..omg, she freakin flunked like 5 colleges!!!!" Is that really how you say someone is not intelligent? By using incorrect grammar and using the acronym 'omg'? Really? I feel sad for this Igor character.

I love Sarah Palin, she added a lot of spark to the Republican ticket and I hope to see her as a major player in our party. She is an intelligent woman who runs is a governor of a state, no small feat even if it is Alaska. And by the way she didn't flunk out of 5 colleges, she attended 5 colleges. Many people including myself attended several universities before I got my degree.

I'm sorry to hear that as a Christian your tolerance and Grace doesn't extend to Sarah Palin. To call her culturally ignorant and fear-based is not only incorrect it is hateful. I'm ashamed as a Christian myself to hear such bile coming from someone who claims to be a believer. If you don't agree with her politics that is one thing, but to speak so disrespectfully about her is cheap and unnecessary. Your pride about being 'educated' is betrayed by your attitude in this post, you can disagree about Palin without ripping her to shreds, she's had enough of that this election season.

Good luck to you and I hope the Holy Spirit can work on your heart and soften your anger towards her.

Take care,

I agree with you Scott. I too am a supporter of President Bush, there were things I didn't agree with, but considering all he had to endure from early on in his presidency I am proud of the work he accomplished. I too long for a conservative Republican president that will proudly stand behind conservative values and be able to convince the American public that less government is what is necessary not more.

Well, thankfully, we're running up to December and the media blitz on Sarah Palin is dying down. Everything that came out of her mouth was a direct insult to me and my family, from my late tax-overpaying Republican grandfather, my other grandparents who worked also their way through "elitist" universities, my parents and their generation who also served in the military and got scholarships to "elite universities", and my mother who has done more with her life from poor beginnings than Sarah Palin will *ever* accomplish. i won't even go into what her campaign meant about me and the choices I have made; but I say it without hatred, she would happily have condemned me to her version of hell.

Sarah Palin lied, and lied, and lied throughout her campaign about her "fiscal conservatism", her record as mayor of a town of 6,000 people, and about Barack Obama; she exhibited no control and no wish to control the bigotry she stirred up; she has no understanding of the scientific method; she has no understanding oft he legal definition of the role she hoped to take; she has no understanding of the realities of the greater world she thought she might influence.

I don't hate her or condemn her - I am a Christian - but I am glad that she didn't become our VP, and I hope she will get out of politics. She has three small children and a grandchild on the way, and frankly I think as she's so keen on babies she should pay attention to the ones she is personally responsible for.

guess you guys missed out on the part that she is way smarter than Obama and Biden combined will ever be. And the fact that Obama comes from a world of terrorist and anti-american terrorist groups, not to mention OBAMA runs on getting people to think he is god. I must say he fits the Bible's description of the anti-christ PERFECTLY (yes I am a Christian) and am personally freaked out by the fact he is an outright communist.

stop watching the liberal bullcrap that CNN, MSNBC,NBC,ABC news shoves down your ever-so-gullible throats

completely agree with you Scott! We NEED another Reagan

he had the most pressure on him because he made bad decisions. clearly the most stressed from other places, and not their own country were jfk, johnson, nixon and ford. they had to deal with hippies and commies. much worse than a bunch of under-informed retards saying he did things wrong.

Oh Alice, I love these types of comments - as if there's always one solution for everything. Let me guess - cut taxes? From a distance and from a very limited perspective, I can understand the argument. Lower taxes and then you have more revenue for the people to buy what they want instead of giving it to the govt. to pay for things that people need but don't buy for themselves - such as healthcare for the people that spend those dollars on cheeseburgers instead, bridges that won't fall under people's feet, etc. The problem with that argument is simple enough to see though. We, the people who actually own this country, need to see where we are on the profit maximization curve and then make a decision. Lowering taxes could hurt us very badly if you don't watch out. Do the math. Stop listening to talking heads that don't know what they are saying.

Read the articles "Powell aide Calls Bush "Sarah Palin-Like Presidentr" The article discusses both George Bush and Sarah Palin and claims, 'Both were out of their depth seeking national office, both are strikingly uninformed, both suffer from an eerie misguided confidence, and both seem to consider policy details as minor annoyances to be ignored."

How can you be proud of a president that bankrupted your country's economy? Aren't Republicans the party of business? You don't think it was a mistake to get involved in a massively expensive war, with little support from the rest of the world, meaning that you had to pay for it all yourselves, and then lowered taxes so you had nothing to pay for it with? Your national debt is the biggest its ever been. Not only that but the mess he's caused in your economy has effected the economies of the rest of the world too. Now we're all screwed. You guys have a lot to answer for. Less government? You should all give thanks you now have someone coming in who is going to govern at all, because Bush didn't know what he was doing. He was so concerned with being a "war president" and being a popular leader, that he completely neglected to actually do the job he was elected to do. The only thing he had to endure was his own inability to do the job. The rest of the world says thanks. People like you screwed all the rest of us by electing him twice.
