The organization of an international conference such as the SABF brings about several difficulties in a great variety of aspects.
First of all, we need to promote the conference around the world: Facebook is the perfect tool to do this because it's simple to use, friendly and has access to a big database of students.
F...acebook has also allowed us to organize activities and events and it has also permitted us to connect with groups of people that are interested in the SABF. What's more, we've been able to reach former participants and let them stay in touch after the conference.
Moreover, the Facebook Page has enabled us to make a better promotion having the possibility of appearing in feeds when uploading videos or changing status and creating events through the page.
The SABF expects to keep growing and get to be better known around the world. How will we achieve this? Making good use of the tools provided by Facebook one of the ways.
