The Tibet Society UK Thursday, 10 December 2009: 61st Human Rights Day
China's record in human rights continues to be dire and the Chinese government exhibits a complete lack of genuine commitment to improving this situation. By accepting this chilling apathy towards basic human and civil rights, world governments are in danger of lowering ...acceptable standards in human rights for us all. Stand up for human rights and join in events in London that commemorate Human Rights Day on Thursday.

The Tibet Society UK Tibet Society strongly condemns the execution of four Tibetans by Chinese authorities on 20 October. We call upon the British government to issue a statement condemning the executions in the strongest possible terms and to urgently engage the Chinese government concerning the complete absence of any evidence of due legal process during the trials of those executed.
