yeah great time freeze work! i did some of that work aswell for the inspector gadegat 2 movie ! great to see u applying it to windsurfing movies - cutting edge stuff!!...!

Kevin Clark Brilliant, one of my favourite Christmas presents and definitely the most used already ! It just makes you want to get out on the water even if it is only 35F !! The sailors are awesome and the production fantastic. There just aren't enough superlatives to describe this great movie, cheers guys.

Steve Clements Excelent movie, but why does the DVD play in a shrunken window? Extras play as expected in full screen, but main movie is about 2/3 size with black border all around. Is this how it should be or have I been sold a duff version?

Hi Steve,
Thanks for your great words about the movie.
Regarding the movie format. We decided kind of early in our movie production that we wanted to do something unique, and I started to play around with the "matrix effects". Without giving the whole secret away ;=) I realized I needed to produce the final movie in Standard Definition Aspect Ration 4:3... Meaning Normal TV size, instead of wide screen. This is the only way which we found out that would work to do matrix in (as we need to move around the original HD footage in a smaller frame sized movie project). As we add the black bar below/above, most Widescreen TVs adjust atomaticlly and "zoom in" these, but not all. Therefore some people will have a black border above/below.

Although, it was a decission we made in the beginning of the production:... Afficher davantage

1. Kick ass movie with some cool effects in 4:3 format.

or

2. Normal movie, without effects, in 16:9.

Ben Ewins Andre - or anyone else who can answer this question - i was wondering how at the start of the movie when Victor does the backloop - how does the camera freeze and then pan around to a different angle??? Its got me scratching my head hahaha! Must be some digital trickery, hey??
