ON THE OCCASION OF THE LAUNCH OF 5PW WARDROBE
NERO MAGAZINE HEADQUARTERS
ARE HOSTING THE PREVIEW PRESENTATION
OF THE S/S 2010 COLLECTION
After last season’s experience of 5preview cult-t-shirts, 5PW wardrobe is brought to life. Same formula of debunking ambiguity: the liberation of consumed axioms of style and the rejet...ion of baroque aesthetics. A Manifesto of rationality, functionality and comfort; seeking for elegance in the early centuries’ solemnity. 5PW is launched in Rome, where its ancient civilization was a great influence to the project. Within its geometric rationality, 5PW refounds a modern form of paganism. In addition: 5PW has no divinity to follow. 5PW is polytheistic. It grins, it averts the dogmata of fashion system, and in the meantime it exalts and celebrates the acceptance of multiple expressions that molds the divinity. Therefore the S/S 2010 collection evokes and interprets the construction of priests’ frocks and monastic apparel of the paleo-christian era. 5PW as a pagan ritual, presents multiple points of view codifying the same significant. The concept is: 5 main pieces, essential and functional; pieces that cannot be renounced in a wardrobe. Black & White as Sacred and Cursed. The Unique and the Distinct. The Good and the Evil. Eternal traditions and contradictions; to live in the contemporary.
5PW WARDROBE is handmade in Italy.
For this occasion, NERO and 5PW WARDROBE will present a series of a collaborative limited edition t-shirts.
