MaSamba Samba School MaSamba organised with Temple Bar Cultural Trust and Bradóg Regional Youth Service to develop a small Pageant which took place on Hallowe'en in Dublin City Centre. As the theme was chocolate, we chose to play on the theme of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, and the band and dancers dressed as Oompa Loompas, lead by our... own Willy Wonka. We were also joined by four members of Essex Samba for the gig, which was a very successful collaboration - thanks to Mike, Carey, Aya and Joey! The project was co-funded by Temple Bar Culture Trust and the Aontas Youth Arts Network. Finally, Thanks to Seán Dwyer for the excellent photos!

MaSamba Samba School We have been doing some work to improve our rehearsal space over the last couple of months. This weekend, we received some armchairs and couches totally free of charge from IKEA. Today, we put it all together and tidied up the corner. The cream on the cake was hanging a specially-made frame containing the band shirt of our fallen mentor, Peter Keenan!
