Josh Is anyone aware of an app that will do a better job of combining dupicate contacts from different synced address book? The Palm Pre does a really good job with this and i'm not complaining just figured other folks may have this issue as well. Thanks!!
Phil Watson The hero automatically scans SD card for video, pics, and music, but maybe you have something you want to keep private, ahem, something naughty perhaps. Here's how to regain your privacy. Using a file manager (I used to use Astro but the latest update didn't show private files, so now I use OI file manager and it works... perfectly) Create a folder begining with . (a period), like .private for example (those who use linux will be familar with this trick, others not) Now this folder will be ignored, but you can visit it with the file manager and play videos, view pics, etc. Something else to be happy about the hero!

Rebecca hi. can anyone help? I have the HTC hero but i can't seem to change my text alert...I added some to the SD card but i can't find them and i only get standard sms tones in the "select sound" box. Can anyone help?? Ta x

a) Is there an app similar to the "where is my pre" or locate the iphone in case it is lost?
b) I have seen a QSB (Quick Search Box) mentioned across the net; but am unable to 'see' or 'activate' it on my HTC. Is there an 3rd party app that I can download to do a global search on my HTC, similar to the Pre?

Nathalie Munoz When I send out group texts it doesn't automatically group them with each individuals message, instead it keeps it as a separate group text and I hate that! Is there anyway to change this?
