How will technology trends play out in the next 30 years?
The rate of technology change is increasing sharply and driving intense creative destruction across the economy. The change we will live as adults will exceed anything before seen in humanity and while it i...s a fascinating and exciting time to live, but it does beg some significant questions about how to react.
Join a discussion over pizza and beer with the young CEOs of local NYC tech startups to discuss how tech will change before you turn 50, and what it might mean about how to factor your career.... because we want to hear what you are thinking about, and pressure test a few of our own assumptions.
We will touch on topics like:
What will new data mean: What does a future full of location aware, internet enabled devices look like?
How will social norms change: What are the privacy implications? What are the social policy implications?
What will be valuable: Content? Access? Will current monetization models hold for internet companies in the future?
What will infrastructure look like? How will 'the cloud' change the dynamics of computing and storage?
This event is designed as an open forum for people passionate about technology, startups, and generally creative destruction.
