Frederic Bastiat is the greatest political economist in history, and his work should be required reading for every high school senior. It was written in 1850 but it speaks to us loud and clear today.
If you loved Ronald Reagan, you must take the time to read the work of his favorite economist. You can read "The Law" ...and "What is Seen and What Is Unseen" in a weekend, but his lessons will stay with you for the rest of your life.
