Through Upper Arlington’s Commemorative Tree Program, members of the community joined together to dedicate a Tree of Hope in honor or Stefanie Spielman on Sunday, December 13, 2009. The tree is located in front of Upper Arlington High School on Ridgeview Road. Upper Arlington residents, students and leaders gathered t...o illuminate the Tree of Hope in remembrance of Stefanie’s messages of hope, inspiration and faith. Donations to benefit The Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at the OSUCCC-James are welcome at www.spielmanfund.com. Contributions can also be made to the Tree of Hope Fund which will go towards care and maintenance of the tree for the first 2 years, after which, excess funds will be donated to the Spielman fund. (Checks made payable to UAEF with Tree of Hope in Memo and sent to 1950 N. Mallway, Upper Arlington, OH 43221). Oakland Nursery donated the tree,
planting, decorations, memorial stone and engraving. Event sponsors included Kroger, O'Neil Tents and Real Brand Designs. Thanks to Upper Arlington Parks & Forestry for sharing these photos.

The tree’s dedication and illumination will take place Sunday, December 13 at 5:30 p.m. at Upper Arlington High School (Ridgeview Road entrance).
