Meet the Met Brass at the Met Opera Shop
The Metropolitan Opera Brass will perform live at the Met Opera Shop on Monday, December 21, at 1.30pm, following the matinee of Hansel and Gretel. The ensemble will play holiday music and selections from their recently released CD, featuring interludes and instrumental versions ...of arias from favorite operas. The CD is available at the shop and online at metoperashop.org.

The Metropolitan Opera On Tuesday, December 8, 2009, families and opera lovers assembled on Lincoln Center Plaza for the Met’s second annual holiday tree lighting. The lights and ornaments for the 25-foot spruce tree, created by the Met’s electric and scenic shops, are made from spare and leftover material from sets and props of Met productions.
