Passionate and almost raw, the new album of Gerald Toto "Spring Fruits" invites us to share with him a poetical view of an artist living in evolving world.

After sharing the stage all over the world with Richard Bona et Lokua Kanza through the afro jazz band : Toto Bona Lokua as well as with Nouvelle Vague (Bande à part...), The new album is as much the expression of the birth of new artistic bonds as a journey into the roots of american musics which finally leads us back to an acoustic contemporary world.

Produced by Gerald Toto himself, mixed by Mike Pelanconi (Lily Allen, Graham Coxon, Dub Syndicate, Natty, Prince Fatty), words mostly written by Alice Orpheus, along with the talented musicians Janice Leca and Patrick Goraguer, Spring fruits remind us that Gerald Toto is an artist redefining himself constantly.

Cristallisation de rencontres artistiques aussi riches que diverses, puisant ses racines dans les musiques américaines, ce répertoire nous emmène vers un monde acoustique contemporain, au confluent des rythmes pop, reggae, soul, blues et folk.
