Burning Man
Cóunt Órlock Hey friends. Last night I had my first visit to a burn party (decompression in the venue SLC). Thanks for showing me a great time and all the love and welcoming gestures! I'm happy to have expanded my universe in this way and got over inhibitions (due to societal stigma) of attending such an event. Very loving people all around and a great spirit. Much Love, Tom

To anyone who may have been lucky enough to have met my brother on the Playa in 2007, 2008, or 2009, I sadly tell you he ended his life on 10-10-09.
His name was Josh, he had many nicknames, "Diesel" and "Blackman" were just two.
He was 25 years old, from North Dakota.
He was intelligent, articulate, witty, ha...ndsome. He wanted to engage you in conversation on everything from physics to music to parallel universes, and he would challenge you and expect you to challenge him.
If you knew him, you know all he wanted was respect and loyalty. Many gave him that, first and foremost his family. One betrayed him too many times and our love could not heal the hurt she caused.
Burning Man was freedom, joy, home.
